This is true but so is the fact they announce the number of National Championships Alabama has everytime they play for one, and that's a lot (no matter how many you think we should have) along with all the other "stuff." Most Bowls. Most Bowl victories. Most National Championships. Most SEC Championships, etc. Plus that's what they have remotes for!

The last two times OU and Alabama played each other the team with less talent hung around and made life miserable for the team ranked #2 one year and #1 the next year. The favorite had to pull trick plays to put those games away. And the team going through hard times felt damn good about itself for playing so well. I'm looking for the same thing tonight when the roles are reversed. Now a so-so Oklahoma team is playing an excellent Alabama team. Hope we show the same grit and determination Alabama showed when they were the underdogs....but let's face it: Alabama is the top program in the country right now and it's going to be tough. With a little luck Alabama will only be yelling "Roll Tide" instead of "Roll Tsunami".

And those were some damn good plays Stoops ran! Fake punts! Onside kicks! Don't forget the ball slipping out of the QB's hand untouched and picked up and run in for OU TD. However, not sure he had anything to do with that one! I see your point though.

The only advantage OU has is the kicking game. That's the only reason the Sooners beat Oklahoma St. If they can pin Bama deep a lot and get a run back or two and then not turn the ball over they might be able to hang around.

That and the 2 blocks in the back conveniently not called.

Watching ESPN where they are showing Bob Stoops saying the league is overrated with defenses (play no offenses) and NC's. Stoops says only the top teams are good but the bottom one's have not done anything. That SEC might have the best team recently but doesn't mean overall. So does Missouri and Auburn being the worst last year but both having a chance to play in NC game this year with Auburn making it count as the bottom doing pretty well? I mean it's not like Kansas, Texas Tech, West Virginia, TCU, Iowa St are sniffing a NC while a few others are doing ok.

Right now, not in the past, I would rank it: Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Baylor, Texas/K State(tie) who cares after these...
