would love to see Subban finally drop the gloves with the captain. Especially after hearing what Mike said on a radio interview about him. Cant wait for the game

I think Richie was really trying to send a message to this kid, basically saying "if you're going to talk shit be read to back it up or shut the fuck up". It should be interesting to see what comes of this, if anything. I don't see Subban engaging Richie or anyone else in the O&B, after all how many chances did he have in the playoffs last year and he just cried to the refs.

I think Richards will only oblige the kid if the game gets out of hand. He knows he's more valuable to helping the team win when he's on the ice not in the box.

I dont think we will see Subban as he is one of their better d men so he might just hide behind the linesman again. If anyone Shelly has to do something that is what he gets paid for

Subban is just as important to their D as Mike is to us. And if he breaks his face, he could put him out for the game. I can lose Mike for 5 minutes for that haha

i thought he made an unnecessary hit on giroux at the end of the game...other than that i didnt notice him all game. hmmm if you talk to hab fans this guy would never play scared....seems as if he may have had his head on a swivel all night.

He turned the puck over to van Riemsdyk, which led to a foray in the offensive zone, culminating in his taking a run at Richards, leaving Coburn alone for a mini 2-on-1 with JvR that won the game.

As I said before, he is one of the most overrated defenders in the game. Mike Green Lite.
