Yeah, really, seeing as they've been too old to win since 1998...

Not my point. A young team doesn't mean that they can't compete. It's just that the Wings have had most of their core together for a few years now. It'll be interesting to see who steps up.

And with that team, you just know someone will.

It's usually just one guy. I'm kind of excited to see what they've been cooking in the AHL for the last couple of years.

To make this clear, I don't have much of a chance to follow most depth organizations as I live in Atlanta and my wife uses the personal computer for more hours a day than I am home.

lol

I am very happy the Bruins stayed quiet. With Horton coming back and Rask now starting, it's a little shake up and we have our clutch scorer back. I really hope DaBolt is just making that up, if not, Anaheim is truly on fucking drugs. I doubt we even made an offer... Chia was pretty verbal he was not interested in Parise/Suter/Weber/Ryan/Nash.

You think the Ducks are going to give Ryan away? Heard it on the radio locally. The Bruins obviously said no. The Ducks have bigger problems than Bobby Ryan. They can put him on the back burner. The Visnovsky situation needs to be settled & both Getzlaf & Perry will be UFA's after next season. The Ducks should be in WIN NOW mode especially with Selanne & Koivu coming back for another year.

Usually at this time of year my attentions would be fully aimed at the Steelers and Pens...but...anyone noticing the Pirates this year!...I'm intrigued...very exciting stuff...

Baltimore is only 2 games back for an AL wildcard berth...Somebody better call Sister Sledge.

I'd be more concerned about Getzlaf than Perry. Corey Perry is going to score goals period. Getzlaf got off to a horrible start & just couldn't put it together. I expect the Ducks to be better next season with both players possibly going on the market next July.

Getzlaff even looked awful at the World Championships.
he should have dominated most of those games.

in summary, fuck the Ducks.
