By the way, over the top is when a coach violently pokes a finger in a player's chest on national TV, and then screams at referees every single time they throw a flag. That trumps just about any fan behavior that I've seen in the last 4 decades or so.

Also, I'm 100% convinced that Pelini's referee abuse throughout the season is the reason why they ganged up on him in the A&M game. They just got sick and tired of his tirades.

Another thing, Nebraska fans supporting a coach who behaves that way is more than enough "ammo" for our country, as you say to lose respect for our program.
Well by all means, let's fire every coach that does not please everyone! God knows we would all be happier with a 7-6 record and a polished used car salesman for a head coach... Oh wait, we had one of those didn't we?
My support for him is on thin ice just like thousands of other NU fans. I still hope he doesn't lose it again in the future, but I won't hold my breath in the mean time.
