Spurs fined $250K after sitting Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, and Green vs the Heat! Is that right?!

This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen a commissioner do. Stern stated that he had the right to do this because of a clause in the CBA that states teams can't do things that are detrimental to the league. This action by the Spurs is not detrimental to the league. They put on a good show and only lost by a few points to the Miami Heat while resting their players so that they would be ready for the Memphis grizzlies at home. Stern overreacted and overstepped his bounds in this case and the fine should be negated soon.

That's true, but the season is still young and they have been historically bad under the current management. If they finish the year with a respectable record then I will retract my earlier statement.
