Interesting...he lives here now, used to do sportstalk radio for a while and that topic came up once or twice and was never addressed...maybe he was holding it for his book, but I'm one of those...I don't care types...you do you and I'll do me.

Can I be a $tealer$ fan for the '16 season?:D Those Clowns in Cleveland have pissed me off for 18 consecutive years!:L

Sure but you'll have to sign a contract agreeing to and foregoing any litigation stemming from the initiation ritual. Before you sign I must legally inform you that the word 'initiation' doesn't constitute hazing in and of itself and that said initiation is administered by Joey Porter. Also, if you have any allegories to terry cloth or yellow dye please disclose that in the designated section of previously mentioned contract.

You didn't hear this from me but I'd memorize the phrases 'Steeler Nation Rulz" and 'Yes Mr. Porter Sir, may I have another Sir!". Oh and if you didn't already, I'd familiarize yourself the careers of all Steeler HOF'ers Not sorry that there are so many!!!!!!!!!!!.

Good luck and Welcome to Steeler Nation (if you surviv...err...make it through initiation!!!).

I agree... Doesn't make sense to me either. Here's some of his quotes:

Boykin said he would describe last season as "just a really weird year. A lot of things happened to me that were really out of my control that I still don't understand," he said. "But the past is the past. I've grown from it. I'm thankful for my time there. They gave me the opportunity that I needed to ultimately get here. I played a lot at the end of the season and was able to put some really, really good things on tape."

I'm interested to see how much they paid him

Hard to fathom what happened, but they played him only when they had to...I see on a couple of Steeler blog sites that he never delivered much in practice...true or not...he played better in the games than Blake did.

Getting? I think he means "maintaining".

Talent wise something doesn't add up...$2 mil is still lite...Boykins name should have been much more in the forefront in week one. I understand a 1 yr deal on a winner, and relaunch your FA next year...

Yea I agree. Both Philly & Pitt hurt his stock value. But everyone viewing him as a nickel CB doesn't help either. After this season I believe people are going to start taking him more seriously.
