Agreed. The media agenda is ridiculous right now. Everyone is out to crucify Ben, for what? For being careful of whom he surrounds himself with? For not supporting some egotistical maniacs? Same sentiments go to Kevin Colbert. Been hearing a lot about the Manny Sanders dispute with KC, and people questioning KC's integrity over that & how he has handled this team over the last several years. It's absolute bullshit. I met KC one year in Latrobe and that man is a great human being. Pure professional, but as down to earth as they come. I had a hard time digesting the fact that he was so forthcoming at conversing & glad-handing with some no-name fans. I don't think 90% of the GMs in the NFL would do something like that. Great dude. And LOL at Sanders for expecting more money than the $9m he was offered 5 years ago. He averaged 40 catches per year while in PIT. That's WR3 production. Granted he was playing with Mike Wallace & Antonio Brown, but still... IIRC he was rarely available because of injuries. Not knocking his abilities, just saying the contract he was offered was more than fair at the time. And I'd be willing to bet that the "Who do you think you are, AB?" quote was either concocted or severely paraphrased.

Agreed. Didn't even think of it that way. I'm sure AB was talking poorly about Ben to James when they were having their little circle jerk a few months ago. Very doubtful he stuck up for Ben in that situation.
