I'd be frustrated and smoke some cheeb if I could catch everything thrown my way but had to sit on the bench while watching the former Titans Cook and Britt continue to drop passes.

It doesn't matter how the country votes, the NFL can have their own policies that the players will adhere too. I doubt the NFL would change their policies based on how the country votes.

It will be tough to uphold suspensions for using a nationally legal recreational substance (once/if it gets to that point). Appeals will repeatedly overturn that, and future CBA negotiations would likely remove it from the banned list.

It's partially illegal at this point. Many states have medical marijuana, others have decriminalized possession, and a few have legalized recreational marijuana. It's only a matter of time before it is treated more or less like alcohol. Should make for some fun super bowl commercials in a decade...
Not so fast Shopson. Ohio just banned legal marijuana and it was voted on by the electorate. More states are expected to join Ohio such as Kentucky, Montana, and Utah in light of emerging MVD stats indicating drivers driving while under the influence are nearly as dangerous as drunk drivers.
Actually, Congress recently and quietly decriminalized and ended the ban on the use of medical marijuana. Pushed for by the Republicans no less. This effectively end the Federal Agents from entering States where medical pot is legal, so these States no longer need to worry about federal drug agents raiding retail operations. Agents would be prohibited from doing so.

Congress quietly ends federal government's ban on medical marijuana

I'm not sure, but even in states that have legalized recreational dope, isn't it still not recognized federally? If I'm not mistaken employers can still get rid of you if you test positive for it?

Just because it is legal for medical or rec use doesn't mean an employer can't have policies prohibiting it's use.

Imagine if you will a Nuclear Technician or a Surgeon using pot this way.

No thanks!

The interesting thing is, there's a good chance both a surgeon or a nuclear technician could be using pot to relax........But not necessarily during working hours which shouldn't be a problem.......If they are using it during work time, THEN I agree, you have a HUGE problem!!!

Ohio voted it down this time and they were right to do so. The bill was going to put the supply in the hands of only a few huge companies, creating a oligopoly right from the start. That's why it was voted down, not safety concerns.
