New England making major changes. Not wasting any time this year.

Miami trying to trade Tyreek Hill and even talking about sending him to NE. (no thanks) They have a discipline problem and acknowledge that they must cut players to fix it. I think the losing season makes this a rebuilding year.

Jets are looking for a coach, a GM and are NOT just a QB away from a Superbowl.

Buffalo pulled together a good season and could still make the Superbowl, as they are still playing.

2025....................

Buffalo - As long as Josh Allen is driving their wagon, They'll be hauling. Like everyone else, injuries will be a deciding factor

New England - With a disciplined coaching staff bringing discipline to an undisciplined team, things will change. That, and with an experienced HC and OC, we can expect a significant improvement in the offensive line, which should be a huge benefit to 2nd year QB Drake Maye

Miami - Keep spinning their wheels signing name players who don't provide the answers to problems. Ross will not tolerate another year of just missing. If things aren't going in a positive direction by October 1st, he'll replace the entire coaching staff and quite possibly front office.

NY Jets - They honestly believed that they were Super Bowl bound. They continually sign players to prevent other teams from getting them. The owner constantly sticks a finger, hand or foot where it doesn't belong and makes harmful decisions. Everyone lives under constant threat of being unemplyed tomorrow. Woody Johnson might be that team's biggest problem.

I won't at this point predict how teams will finish in the AFCE other than Buff at #1

The comment was about discipline, not winning.
Exactly.

2019 was Brady's final year in NE.

2020 began a downward spiral of discipline that effected the entire team, with Cam. COVID didn't help.

2021 was a false resurgence with Mac Jones that began a huge reversal in 2022 and continued to worsen in 2023, 2024.

I blame BigKen. For 5 years he complained that Bill was too old and too much of a disciplinarian and that didn't work with the incoming kids these days.

Bill took BK's recommendation and adopted a softer approach and the whole thing went to shit.
