I don't think they haven't prioritized it. They have acknowledged it's a problem. The problem is there just aren't quality OL out there. You posted that injuries are piling up, yet teams aren't bringing in any of those FAs. 32 NFL teams along with their coaching staffs and talent evaluators obviously see a reason not to bring them in. Even if NE brought one of them in, how long before they could possibly gel and be even slightly effective? OL needs to play together to gel. Some critics say two years.The reason for this is because the coaching staff still has not prioritized improving the offensive line.
Until they make the decision that this OL needs significant improvement, nothing will change. End of Story.
We're stuck with what we have. Get them healthy and pray for the best. Address it in the off-season barring more injuries.
