Yeah, it seems excessive. There are 226,000+ people in Glendale. That's about $220 per resident for a hockey team. Hope they send every resident a pair of box seats!

They (the city council of Glendale) need to get creative and try to lure as many concerts, events, conventions, trade shows etc. to the Glendale area in order to generate as much revenue as they can from Jobing.com arena. It looks like a beautiful arena.
