Stanton made the elite 11. There is no final rankings. You are either Elite 11 or you are not and then there is an MVP ( Asantii Woulard). He obviously didn't get that, but the guy missed 2 half days of the whole camp. Bravo.

Woulard was a darkhorse but the guy is a cool customer. Smooth and fluid are the words commonly used to describe him.

Meanwhile Shane Morris #2 pro style QB did not make the elite 11.

I'm looking now to see who made the cut and who didn't.

Woulard wasn't offered by anyone big before this weekend, but he seems to have been the consensus top player there. It'll be interesting to see if he's loyal to South Florida or if he'll bolt when the big-time programs give him scholarship offers. He listed Oregon, Florida State, and Florida as favorites even without offers, so I think it is very likely he'll wind up in Eugene, Tallahassee, or Gainesville.

Why?

S. Florida is a BCS team. Playing in the Big East he'll get a chance to start 4 years.

Any of those other teams he'll likely ride the depth chart pine at least 2.

Double edged sword.

Start 3/4 years, likely go to one or two bowl games, maybe have a few moments of real national attention.

Start 2/3 years, likely consistently play on the national stage and play in front of more fans. Chance at national title, elite competition, and more talent around you. More tradition, better coaching and facilities.

Word is the coaches at elite 11 have reinforced to stanton that he made an excellent choice in the school he picked. They have preached to him that he is the ideal fit for Nebraska and not to waiver :thumb:
