Bad start, glad we got back into it, sucks we gave up another one.

Overall, not too bad of a period, just gotta bury those chances & tighten up on defense a bit. Hopefully we make the proper adjustments during the intermission.

Wasn't our night guys. Understandable, Sharks are a good team & facing elimination, plus there was too much buzz regarding the Cup today.

Props to Martin Jones, he was the difference.

Hope we can get this done on Sunday.

Figured there was too much focus on the Cup today, I could see it being a distraction.

Obviously disappointed with tonight's result, but the Pens actually played very well. Just couldn't bury some chances when we had momentum in the 1st, then we gave up a goal to give them a 3-2 lead, then Martin Jones shut the door the rest of the game.

Just gotta tip your hat to their goalie and hope we can get it done on Sunday.

Jones definitely stole that one. What did he make, 42 saves or something? And it's not like he was just facing point shots all night, either. He made a lot of dandies. But man, the Pens really took it to the Sharks for about 50 of the 60 minutes. The Sharks had no answer. Except, that is, for Jones.

You could tell they were more focused on the Cup than the game itself early on. Let Burns skate into the slot, didn't clear bodies/pucks in from of Murray, had trouble defending their own zone. As a result, we found ourselves in an early 2-0 hole.

Them after we tied it, we had 2 good chances to score, only to hit the post. Should've been 4-2 Pens, but instead we let them score & it was 3-2 Sharks.

They got better as the game went on, but so did Martin Jones.

Just gotta tip your hat to their goalie.

They have a reason to play with some urgency now & shouldn't be distracted by the prospects of winning the first championship won by a Pittsburgh team in Pittsburgh since 1960, so hopefully they'll be better throughout game 6.

I never expected this to be an easy series anyways.
