As a person with no dog in this fight, I think the game was pretty even, but Vancouver had the higher quality scoring chances. Luongo played great, Thomas played out of his mind. That kinda tells the story.

Game got better as it went on. Thomas was unbelievable. Luongo was steady and although he didn't really have any hard saves he kept the puck out. It was 36 saves, but it was basically all from the outside or from bad angles. His team did a good job clearing the chances.

If Boston is going to get back into this game, they need to crash the net more and Chara in front of the net is pointless! Put him back on the point on the PP and let him smoke the puck. Lord.

On the shot clock yes, but Vancouver had wayyyy more quality scoring chances and more often that not hemmed Boston in their own zone. Thomas was just insane and if it wasn't for him it could have been 3-0. Boston barely had any good chances. It was all pucks thrown on the net with no real danger.

JMO. Boston will bounce back though.
