He threw for over 5000 yards just like Tommy Brady 2 years ago....Only difference is Stafford was 23 when he did it and Tommy was at his prime at 33......Give Stafford another 10 years and then get back to me.....

AP only has a few years left in the tank being 28 and carrying the work load for a lot of years.......I don't want AP.....We might be willing to trade strait up for Leshoure, but even then AP only has a few years left......

The Lions will contend or not contend depending on our O-line, 2 DE's and CBs.......Stafford or Brady will or would sink or swim depending on these factors, not to mention a new Field Goal Kicker and Special Teams.....Tom Brady can't make the defense stop other teams and neither can Stafford.....

I may be very critical of Staff at times, but his career is still in its infancy.(Maybe preschool stage,... Idk, he's awful young) Toms is starting to grey in the temples. You base this on playing the Jets, Dolphins and Bills twice a year along with a weak ass schedule and Zebra Aid. Brady would've never made it in the NFC North Black and Blue Division playing for the Lions. The Lions would not be a contender with Brady right now any more than they would be with Stafford. And its not the O-line nor the DE's that will make the difference. The Lions will never be a true contender with these coaches running a one trick pony offensive scheme. Until they change up the offensive scheme and figure out HOW to run better and be a more consistent offense that doesnt depend on the big play to win, they will never be hoping for more than a play-off birth. This regime may not be near as bad a Millen and his dumb-ass coaches, but they are far from good and this team wins its games on talent of the stars alone in spite of the coaching.
