The snow makes this thing all the better. I'm lovin it
Let's Go Pens
Let's Go Pens
Hawks have been carrying play, but the Pens are only down one. They are fortunate to still be in this thing.
Edit/
I haven't watched a whole lot of this game, I'm just ready for the Outdoor Games to be over with for the season, the novelty is wearing off
It can't be stressed enough how bad all of the Stadium Series jerseys have been
Finally
I've got no problem with it. I think the regular season is too long, as it is. Why not make one of 82 a little different than the others. The only thing I would like to see is some new blood in these matchups. Minnesota needs a home game. So does Colorado and Winnipeg.
I think the regular season in terms of length is fine as it is, it's just that the outdoor experience in general isn't a novelty anymore - and just the fact we all know it is a money grab
It just doesn't feel the same that it isn't a Winter Classic game - this probably would have been a great Winter Classic game but they wasted it for the Stadium Series
It is a money grab, but if it sells... And it does as ratings/attendance certainly illustrates, why not? The whole point of pro sports is entertainment and to make money.
I can't hate on that.
I understand what they're doing, but sometimes, they have to know the limits - I think some people take the bait and spend money on it just because it is popular
I just hope this doesn't end up being something where it's less interesting to watch over time
The novelty of it could wear off. Gotta admit it, though.. If Philly and the Pens ever get a outdoor game at 100,000 seat Beaver stadium, I'm taking the whole family
