I was wrong. Not the first or last time. I still think it’s bullshit. I’m more pissed at how Oklahoma is in. Two teams in their own conference deserve it more than them.
louisville, utah, usc,oregon final four
no they didnt, they played horrible teams to get that record, and when they played anyone decent they lost......St. Mary's deserved to be in at 28-5. Non conference tourney winners with 12-13 losses do not deserve to be in.
Their schedule may have been harder but they lost to those teams. That does not make them more deserving than St. Mary's. If it does, then St. Mary's and all those teams they beat should be dismissed from Division 1. They should be told before the season (or when their schedule is being negotiated) that regardless of how well they do they will not be allowed in the tournament. But it seems that (just as in football) if you schedule decent teams and those teams have a bad season (out of your control) your team is punished.
st marys didnt schedule good teams that were just "bad" btwno they didnt, they played horrible teams to get that record, and when they played anyone decent they lost......
Rankings r meaninglessThey were ranked in the top 20 last week.
They did a shitty job of selecting teams this year. USC should have been in. Notre Dame should have been in. Oklahoma should not have been in.

Syracuse and Oklahoma have worse resumes than the Irish.I disagree about Notre Dame & St Mary's. Notre Dame shouldn't have been losing to teams like Ball State & Indiana with Colston.....
St. Mary's scheduled poorly. When you schedule so poorly & play in a shit conference, not only do you need to beat the Zags at least once (which they did) but you also need to make sure you make it to the conference title game vs the Zags which they didn't do. Can't lose to a team like BYU before the finals and expect to make it.

i see what u did there switching gears to another team after arguing for st marysSyracuse and Oklahoma have worse resumes than the Irish.
Unfortunately, the committee left us with several fuck ups on their part.i see what u did there switching gears to another team after arguing for st marys
I don't know anything about their schedule, except that they played Division 1 teams. Those teams are either Division 1 or they are not. As I implied. The NCAA should identify the teams that will hurt your chances to get in before the schedules are negotiated. Then teams that schedules those teams do so at their own risk.no they didnt, they played horrible teams to get that record, and when they played anyone decent they lost......

Of course, the NCAA will never do this because then those teams identified as "unworthy" would never be able to fill out their schedules.
