Thing about Thompson/Warriors though, is that Thompson's defense is way underrated and seems to be a steady constant regardless of his offense. Was that the case all season? I didn't watch every game this year, like I'm sure you did. Parker and Duncan are getting their numbers, but I don't think I've ever seen either of them look so bothered offensively.

Imo, Klay Thompson is good not great athletically. He is technically sound on offense and defense. He's 6'7" with enough speed to keep up with guys like Tony Parker.

He's gotten better since last year too. He used to get burnt by guys that are quick (while Curry would get overpowered by stronger guards). His game vs Dwayne Wade showed how much he improved this year.

The biggest thing missing from his game was assertiveness. He used to just settle for jumpshots. Game 2 was amazing to me because to took control on his own. Driving, leading the fast break, turnovers, rebounds..he was all over the place.

From what I remember of Thompson during the draft was that he was an elite defender with a stroke... Haven't seen a lot of the Warriors ball since he was drafted though... One thing I do know, if they don't sign both he and Curry to long term deals like Okc did with Durant and Westbrook, one of those 2 will be a Laker... I have a feeling it will be Curry... Curry and Dwight post Kobe...?

Hey draft your own! (Lol I know Klay's dad played for show time)

Curry was extended already at a decent price. Not sure about Klay's status but if he keeps improving at this rate, I hope keeping the backcourt together becomes a priority

Why do you have a bad feeling?

Just seems like the Warriors are due for a letdown. Even though Game 1 was a major disappointment in that they lost a game they should have won, I think they're due for losing a game they're just not in at all. The shots can't fall every night. Maybe I'm over-thinking it, hope I am, but I'm not betting it tonight.

I'm thinking about taking MIA with the spread tonight. Thoughts?

Well, I took Chicago. Even with getting blown out in game 2, getting 7.5 points at home seems to good to be true. I think the referees allow the Bulls to be a little more physical than in game 2. Plus, they are at home, so the offense should play a little better.

I could see a bit of that. A lot of hype (well deserved) about the oracle home advantage that many are thinking it's a done deal for the next two games.

The pressure is on the Warriors to protect home court and everything the Mark Jackson has been saying to the media is about not relying on the HFA to win the game.

He said "Fans can't guard, rebound or score..still gotta play your game" or something like that.

I hope any letdown is countered immediately and they just play straight up.

Reports have D Lee feeling better, how much better and can he be effective is unknown.

Bogut is a much better fit for this squad. Might sound outlandish, but the Warriors should consider trading him, could get a lot for him right now. Only hesitation there is that Bogut is injury-prone, plus it's a tight-knit group of players with Lee as the steady veteran of the group.

Yeah, I think his message is not to think that playing at home is a guarantee of anything.

As long as they keep buying into what he's saying!

Having two big men that can pass is a luxury that's hard to duplicate. I think they're succeeding despite not having Lee not because of.

The offense stalls when bogut is out, d lee would help out then
