well what I have seen britton is the only one I have seen talked about being the next tillman . School of Roch: Tillman on his mindset, opening day, workouts, Wallace and Britton if we do sign aj and britton does well . I can see either Norris or gonzo to the pen . gonzo reminds me so much of r lopez !

I thought DD said a proven veteran pitcher? DD has failed to deliver (improve this team) this off season to date so if we flounder out of the gates, he should be fired by the All Star break. Unless of course, Peter is making all of the moves or non moves which it appears he is.

Well, they'd have to pass the physical as well, which has seemed pretty difficult lately for players we try to sign.

Sorry Ted, but Britton is lucky to win the 5th man spot in the rotation but he is NOT going to win 15 games as a starter this year with the Orioles. His mechanics are still herky jerky and gives up too many free passes, continues to get hit hard and has not shown to date what it takes to be an effective starter in this league. I'm not giving up on him however, I think a bull pen role might help him and the O's this season.

I agree. When Britton first made the team he looked great. I don't know if the league caught up to him, but he fell apart the second half of the year. He hasn't been the same since. Hopefully, Dave Wallace will be able to turn his career around.

I also wonder how much his shoulder injury has affected him.
