Lombardozzi might end up being the starting 2nd baseman.

Detroit Tigers deal for Alex Gonzalez of Baltimore Orioles - ESPN

Trust traded Alex Gonzalez to Detroit for Steve Lombardozzi
seems he is in manny roster spot and ryan will play third . steve is ok but isn't what a schoop brings to the table . i just don't get some of the moves other than they wouldn't have gotten anything for alex .

so 1 davis 2 aj 3 jj 4 lombardozzi 5 ryan , 6 nicky 7 matty 8 cruz 9 weeks 10 nolan 11 lough 12 pearce and 13 clevenger . schoop should be here but we will be saving that clock shit . pegs most likely start on the dl and young which is the only real loss but he has a mil contract but may have a opt out if he doesn't make the team . the only real question would be if they could start nolan on the dl which i don't think they can .

14 tilly 15 chen 16 ubaldo 17 norris 18 gonzo

pen 19 webb 20 matusz 21 britton 22 stinson 23 hunter 24 o'day and 25 aceves
here meek has earned the spot . like schoop will be sent down because they can keep him .

so who am i wrong on ? yes i can understand the part on nolan but he has the potential factor that others don't like pearce and young . britton i'm worried we will mess his arm up in the bull pen . i hope he is the longman .

I like this move, they turned a 37y/o guy into a 25y/o utility guy who's decent and is signed for a few more years. This may make Weeks expendable.

as long as schoop is 2nd baseman or third on opening day i could careless . if schoop is in the minors i hate the deal . be hell we trade a 50 saves closer for a starting second baseman for the tides !!!!:laugh3::bawling:

I didn't know Clevenger was a Baltimore native. Good for him. Having a nice ST so far.

with brachs optioned leaves 40 in camp . aceves vs meek for the final spot in the pen meek can be moved down . that is thinking we keep stinson . buck is leaning to a 4 man bench . clevenger , reimold , pearce , weeks is my guess . schoop is only to delay his clock but they could also delay by sending him down when manny is ready .young can give up the 100,000 and move on or go to the tides either way he just stinks and a free swinger and we have enough of them .
