Spring Training Games (question)...

I have friends coming to visit from California who are huge Angel fans and would like to see their team play the Diamondbacks while they are here.

There are 2 games in which they play each other:

The 1st is Monday March 3 in Scottsdale

and the 2nd one is Saturday March 8 in Tempe

My question is: do these game usually sell out? Should I buy tickets in advance? Or am I fine getting the tickets at the stadium?

Both games are split squad games. The early spring training games at Talking stick tend to sell out. But you might still be able to get tickets a week ahead of the game there. I haven't been to Tempe Diablo stadium in a few years. With that game being on a Saturday, it may fill up faster than weekday games. I would personally buy the tickets as early if you can.

If you take a look at the Talking Stick game, you can see that many of the tickets in lower 100 section are already gone with only the LF & RF sections still having a large selection. DIablo stadium is even worse & they have no upper section there.

So after looking at the seats left, I would buy the tickets ASAP.

Your welcome. I was surprised that so many seats were already gone. Just get the tickets from Dbacks.com > Shedule > Tickets for individual games.

And that SNL skit is one of the great ones.

I went to quite a few ST games last year and even if they are sold out you can easily scalp them for a good price the day of. It's scalp city.

I was thinking the same thing and plus Craigslist.

But, that has to be a last resort since seeing a game here is a big highlight for their trip.

I think AZ televises a few games throughout Spring Training but from what I remember its usually broadcasted later and not live.
