Cole Young made a nice backhanded play in the hole at short for the final out of the last inning, preserving Mariners' no-hit bid, and now he just hit a two-run double to deep center field to break a scoreless tie.Kid can play.

So who is everybody keeping an eye on for this spring training? Personally I am looking at Tyler Locklear, Alberto Rodriguez and Jonatan Clase. I think Locklear has a great shot at joining the majors this season especially since 3rd base hasn't been set in stone.

Locklear and Clase for sure.

Everyone says has he not gotten injured last year Locklear would’ve been called up last year

Clase is weird, cause his speed alone will eventually earn him at least the 26th man somewhere. Has good power too, just seems to be a super free swinger

For providing..a not so good.
Product...and making more.
Money at it .than others .

The only thing you can hope for is they get tired of the negativity and bashing and one day sell but that'll be a good while since they're pockets are being filled

Something tells me we may not even reach the 54% that Dipwad Dipoto aims for this year...
He's about to find out the hard way that being cheap has its consequences.

Yep. It's called not having the Rays scouts that find talent, manage them properly in the minors and be MLB ready to compete.

The only thing you can hope for is they get tired of the negativity and bashing and one day sell but that'll be a good while since they're pockets are being filled

Of real baseball...is a turn off..

I feel the mariners have a chance.

And to be fair to him, Lewis, White and Kelenic not working out really killed his ability to do a cheap rebuild. He “went for it” in trading for Winker and Castillo but Fraley and Marte sure would look nice if he isn’t allowed to spend the money needed to be where all of us fans want and that is the World Series.
