Very well could. And it won't surprise me if the Ohio State and Texas wins over TCU end up not looking like real good wins by the end of the year.

For sure they have a better resume, but most rankings have at least a minimal amount of projection or we would all just resume rank. Texas has been fairly fortunate, Wisconsin is still a pretty big question mark with a ton of preseason hype.

At this point I try to rank resume and efficiency. Probably slightly more resume, which is why I have UF, LSU and Kentucky ranked where they are.

Yes, it's better. Wisconsin has played a truly awful schedule. Texas has played a significantly better schedule.

Texas has played 2 decent teams imo ( top 35 type teams ), Wisky has played 1. Both have blah losses. Much like CBB Texas has better bad wins compared to Wisky so their SoS looks better but neither team is losing to KState or Tulsa

Or you could break it down that Texas has played a top 20 team (OU) top 35 team (TCU) and top 40 team (USC), while Wisconsin has played a top 30 team, hell I'll even give Iowa top 25 status, even though they aren't ranked. Texas lost to a top 50 team on a neutral, Wisconsin lost to a team outside the top 50 at home. The rest of the schedules are crap.

Are you giving TCU more credit than warranted? The Oklahoma win was good for Texas but the TCU one may not look too good when the year is over.
