no because LSU is unbeaten

there will never be a Hawai'i 2.0

Hawai'i had a terrible defense, Houston at least has a defense.

Hawaii was ranked #38 in total defense at the end of the year, Houston is currently ranked #57.

that's because the Rainbow faggots didn't play anyone that had a resemblence of an offense

Houston plays in conference usa which is mostly all offense

Why do people always jump to the 1 ( thats right 1) non-AQ that got crushed when it comes to talks of other non-AQ's?? I seem to remember Boise beating a few AQ's, Utah beating a few AQ's, TCU beating an AQ. The non-AQ's have actually won more BCS bowl games against AQ's than they have lost. Plus Hawaii in 07 was playing probably the best etam in the country in UGA, Houston will likely be playing a Michigan team that lost to an average Iowa team, got crushed by MSU and needed a HUGE amount of luck to beat an average ND.

LOL @ putting Houston #2. :L

Really? :burt:

i have Houston 3rd. Oklahoma State and Oklahoma have lost to teams that are not any better than the teams Houston plays. Stanford hasnt played anybody except for Oregon and Southern Cal...and they are lucky to be 1-1. Arkansas lost a "good" team, but they have beaten Texas AM (no big deal) and USCe. Boise is 1-1 against good schools. So, unless Houston losses i dont think there is anyway i can drop them much lower. I dont see how people who use the schedule argument can put Houston behind teams that have lost to Iowa State, Texas Tech, or have losses and havent beaten anybody that isnt much better than UCLA or East Carolina.

Pretty much sums it up.

Yeah, I dropped Okie St & Choklahoma a fairly good bit.

I base much of my poll on who I think is better, there are lots pf variables in that.

If Houston plays a real opponent in a BCS bowl, NCG or not, I garauntee they lose. Garauntee it.

Based on?? Not history. Not this years Houston team as they are already 1-0 against bowl bound AQ teams this year and have only had 2 semi-close games out of 11 games played. Just a gut feeling??

Do you also guarantee that the next time Georgia plays real opponent that they will lose? Cause they're 1-2 (if you count Auburn). I just dont see much of a difference in Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Florida, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and East Carolina, SMU, UCLA, UTEP, and LA Tech.

SMU and UCLA have better wins than anyone in that other group has and La Tech demolished Ole Miss.

I just find it odd that a fan of a team who has lost their last 2 games vs decent non-AQ opposition would be so sure that Houston isnt any good.

No, because UGA is a very young team & has improved a huge amount since the first two games of the season.

UGA vs. a quality opponent could go either way right now. You see, Georgia has as good or better talent than anybody in the country. Whether they are up to that potential yet is unknown.

I've seen them play. Not impressed.

You may be right. All I am saying is that history of non-AQ teams in BCS bowls ( or even bowls in general) would say otherwise.

Good thing football games aren't decided inside history books.
