It's a ridiculous ranking. Some guy from The USA Today had them at #5 right behind Alabama and right in front of TCU. LOL. I mean they'll be good again this season, but not that good. I'm not sure what that guy was thinking. This isn't 2011 anymore. That season and all those ones before it have now come and gone.

We could return to that level sir

and this guy certainly thinks so, thanks to him if we win over Washington I can jump us up to 9th in my next poll!

I hear you brother. It's not out of the question that we could get back there. We were there for years from 2006 - 2011. I just don't personally see it happening this year, but we'll see. Boise returns a lot of talent. Much of it if not most will depend on quarterback play. It's so important in today's game.

Finley doesn't have to be great, he just has to manage the game with limited mistakes. Do that with this defense and we are in good shape and could make some noise come the end of November.

I definitely saw a lot of the old Boise State teams with how we played last year, but how Finley plays this year will determine how we are compared to that level, Hedrick really came into his own late.

I've just been busy moving I don't even have cable or wifi set up yet. I'll be going out to watch the SC game tonight.I'm not getting that far ahead of myself. It is only week one and that kiss could wake Stanford up. SC/Stanford is never a given.

What am I missing about Michigan State? Their secondary was awful last year and they lost the best two players (by far). Their strength was the offense, but they lost their best three skill position players. They lost their best linebacker to graduation and (after we voted) lost their #2 linebacker to injury.

To me, they look like a team with a very good OL, QB, and DL. There are huge questions anywhere else. I felt like I was overrating them when I voted them #7, so I have now idea how they ended up #3.
