Would not be upset at all with that draft. Like Martin from Michigan a lot.

Konz in the first is solid. I'm not as sold on Boykin as you are.

Boykin would've been a great pick if Ginn didn't re-sign. Now? O don't know. There are probably a lot others I'd like more (like Josh Chapman for example).

True but Ginn is only on a year deal and it seems like he only came back because he didn't have any other choice not because he wanted too.

Fuck Ginn. Hes completely useless outside of special teams. Boykin would actually contribute on defense.

Suprised you took a Center in round 1. Surprised you're not interested in Kendall Wright or Doug Martin?

Konz can play RG as he adjust to the NFL then takeover for Goodwin, and maybe Kilgore can take over RG. To me it's a good pick for the long run even if not flashy.
But why take a CB in round 2? Are you thinking we lose Brown at the end of the year?
(I don't know anything about Boykin)

It's a middle of the line pick for me. In the first round I went more with what I think Baalke would do in that situation moreso than I would do. Plus, all of the top guys I wanted were gone, so it's a nice consolation pick. It was between Konz and Wright, but it's a deeper WR class than it is an interior OL class so I went with Konz.

I love me some Martin, but this is a too deep of a RB class to take him in round one. The only RBs I'd take that high is if Miller or Wilson drop.

I think Boykin will be a really, really good 2/3 CB in the league. He can play nickel until one of Brown or Rogers are no longer on the team. Plus, he has added value as a special teams player, and adds much needed speed to the secondary, IMO. I still think Culliver's future is at FS, too.

Is a 2/3 CB worth a 2nd rounder to you? I'd need to be fairly convinced that he could at least be a number 2 CB.

I agree with Martin. I like him as a late 2nd round pick, but not now that we have Jacobs. We can afford to wait another year to go after RB.
.
Tannehill made it to the bottom 2nd round? I would of taken Chandler Jones or Crick over Boykin.

A good 2/3 CB that also excels in special teams? Absolutely, especially considering we're picking very late in the 2nd.

if we can sign brown to play RG, konz should be able to beat out badwin. we'd have a pretty strong line. boykin is a great pick late in the 2nd. him and culliver could lock up corner for the next decade.

Oh very true.... he's been on target for the Ravens and may have won the AFC North through this Mock.

A student of success, but a teacher of inspiration....
