LBs are getting harder and harder to evaluate coming out of High School. Think Bama and LSU ranks so high is because of the style of offenses they play in the SEC. Now that it's beginning to open up like the rest of the country, be interesting if they continue to take big bodies or do what spread conferences do and transform Safety hybrids into LBs.

LSU likes to move running backs to linebacker and that conversion has turned Devin White to a first rounder and Patrick Queen to either a late first/early to mid second rounder.

I think thats fair, but Deon (Debo) Jones, was also a RB to LB guy. He was very pedestrian his first year or two at LSU. Guy was drafted in the second round, just got a 4 year deal. LSU has put out their fair share of linebackers. Don’t disagree with Bama at 1 though.
