I am guessing Bill Snyder and KST special teams coach we will be called on to resign today...(DH Rules)
sPitt gave the safety ON PURPOSE late in the game to not give us the opportunity to block the punt. 7+3+3=13
REALLY? with YOUR fourth grader comment?????
Looks like we need to keep a running score for this..
Oklahoma IMO you have to say this is another check in the negative column.
Lambert looked great booting a 54 yard FG and that boosted the crowd, but the damn 100 yard return right after we went up seven and looked very impressive just took the wind out of our sails.
I am the first to say don't fire a coach during the middle of a season, but damn if we keep up this offensive attack and every time we turn around they are putting one in the endzone on special teams for a score we have to can him.
So Report card so far:
Alabama-A
Towson-A
Maryland-C-
Oklahoma-D-
I still think Defforest can turn these teams around and he has brought us some great talent kicking wise, but damn he has to fix these things sooner rather than later or we will not win big games like Saturday.
While Coach DeForrest is the ST Coordinator, I think he coaches the kickers. The coverage teams are coached by Galloway. As with any job, the responsibility for the ST's falls on the coordinator... but, it isn't like Joe is failing to coach up the coverage teams. That would be Lonnie.
ST's have been a problem for a long time with WVU. This ain't nothing new.
Under Stewart, WVU had one of the worst coverage teams in the country.
Like I said... this ain't nothing new...
Doesn't mean it doesn't need to be fixed... just an ongoing issue for this program...
2007 #55, 2006 # 9, 2005 # 36In 2009, WVU was ranked #104 in KO return defense...
