I don’t listen to any hip hop. But when they started playing WAP, I thought for sure it was just Matt and Trey doing one of their parody songs. Then I found out it was a real song.

Am I really nothing more than a “get off my lawn” old foggy now?

You need to know about it, unfortunately. Paramount treats each episode like a stand-alone, so it won’t pop up by adding SP to your list.

Paramount+ exclusive special, "The Streaming Wars". Part of the deal they signed a year or so ago is that on top of new seasons, they do X amount of specials.

Such a good episode. I love that they can call themselves out for taking an “exclusive” deal with HBO Max for South Park’s streaming rights only to take another “exclusive” deal with Paramount+ to produce original specials.

I tried watching the new Beavis and butthead. Couldn’t get through them. Not because I wasn’t liking it. But they have way too many commercials.

Watched it this AM. GREAT episode. Pokes fun and criticizes both the woke crowd AND the anti-woke crowd. Matt and Trey are really skilled at presenting middle of the road humor that other major platforms are simply unable/unwilling to do.

25 years in, and this show is still cutting edge and has something to say. I would argue that it has fully surpassed Simpsons as the best/most important animated show ever.

I've probably watched Futurama the most but I do think South Park is probably the most essential.

South Park > Simpsons > Batman Animated Series > King of the Hill > Futurama?
