As per ESPN.

Also, good chance the Chargers go with them, but they only have until the 16th to agree to a lease agreement with the Rams.

It'll be the Rams and Chargers moving to LA.

Bummer, I hate seeing teams leave cities ... Something just stinks about it... I realize LA did lose there teams as well, so I feel they should get a team back, but it would a been great if it was an expansion ....

Rams fans should be happy they got to enjoy a team for so long after it was basically stolen from LA. I'm know the fans in St. Louis are dedicated but they never should've had a franchise to begin with.

So if the Chargers and Rams end up in LA what does the league do with the divisions? One rumor has Seattle moving back to the AFC West. It won't just be the actual teams that move who are affected. I think there is going to be some fallout that hits other teams as well. This could completely change the landscape of the AFC and NFC again.

I imagine it will stay the same. Both teams are already in western divisions, so they'll just share a stadium like the Giants and Jets do.

The only way the divisions are affected is if the Chargers and Raiders moved which is no longer a possibility. Nothing has to change with the Rams and Chargers moving.

Pretty much.

The Rams belong in LA.

I'm curious to see what this means for the Raiders. Do they have a new stadium deal on the table?

It gets a little awkward for the Chargers here

They were locked in partnership with Oakland.

They probably dont want to pass this up, but hopefully they can fight so that some of the relocation money goes to the Raiders at the very least.

$$$$$ wins out, and the Rams dude was laying out his own jack.

So if the Rams and Chargers go to LA then I pick the Rams to root for. Sucks, the Raiders were actually starting to make progress and I was hoping they'd be the ones to come to LA. Good for Oakland fans if they get to keep their team but the Raiders will end up being my 2nd team.

This seems like a preemptive move for the NFL to set up to actually add more teams. I dont see them adding teams piecemeal as they have in the past. But STL is actually a prime market, as is San Diego. Add 8 more teams, a few more in season games and divide each division into five teams. Ten Divisional games and Eight non divisional games would make winning ones division even more important. They would have to drop 2 pre-season games.... but every one would make out.

Plus they would likely expand the playoffs field to 14 teams per conference eliminating the first round playoffs buy.

I saw my first Pro football game in 1953 in the Los Angeles Coliseum with my dad, yes the Rams belong in Los Angeles.

That Rams dude is a billionaire himself and is married to a freaking WalMart heir.

He is going to build something that makes JerryWorld look like a county fair set of bleachers.

That won out.

The owners like and prefer dealing with the Chargers guy, but the Rams dude wants to drop BILLIONS of his own scratch.
