It is all but done for Brandon Roy, he has had a long and great career. A source close to Brandon Roy has confirmed that he's been diagnosed with a career-ending knee condition and will retire.
Hearts will be heavy in Portland, as Roy has ushered the Blazers out of the "Jail Blazers" era ever since winning Rookie of the Year in 2007. A three-time All-Star, he'll be remembered for his unique athleticism and clutch shooting, as well as his classy off-court demeanor. Teammate Wesley Matthews is already rooting for "comeback 2014" and we second the notion.
