He supposedly wanted a long term deal. Yeah, I am sure his stats warranted it. Just because he was pretty decent in the playoffs doesn't mean he should be signed long term. Plus it seems most pests wear out their welcome after a while.

its strange that the Isles, with 20 players signed, could currently fit the three highest paid players in the league under their team's cap.

Yeah it's pathetic. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with Okposo & Bailey after this season. They'll both be RFA's if they don't sign extensions during this offseason or during the season. Bailey might not draw a lot of interest offer sheet wise, but I think Okposo would.
