We'll OU has a very good team this year.(#4 preseason)
They started slow but have been gaining momentum since the KSU loss. Norte dame also has a good team who has beat up on the B1G, who is just horrible this year. ND has played hard football shutting those teams down and not having to score much. I just haven't seen a single offensive threat that ND has that will cause problems for OU.

Umm no. We just said they're very good and the domers haven't seen an offense attack nearly as diverse as Oklahoma's. I think it's cute that you have a chip on your shoulder though.

I wouldn't say gods gift but...

RB- Williams 552y average 7.5 per carry 7 TDs
RB- Whaley 241y average 6.3 per carry 1 TD
RB- Clay 211y average 7.3 per carry 3 TD
FB- Millard 109y average 7.8 per carry (has 2 recieving TDs)
QB- Blake Bell 8 TDs from inside the 5

Thats the backfield. Look at those average per carry, sick! Millard, the FB, is the only one with fewer than 30 touches but he is a huge threat in the passing game, no LB has been able to cover him yet.

I am just excited about playing a big non-conference game. Seriously how many team schedule tough non-conference games. There is a reason Gameday is coming to Norman, both teams have great records and are quality teams. But also because of the Historical pasts of both programs. You will see a lot of old footage and it will be talked about. So yeah, OU is proud of our team and looking forward to a great game against the Irish.

On a side note (OU has played amazing these past couple of games but all OU fans know....and the question is always in the back of our minds...which Landry Jones will show up?)

If things go well the rest of the year for the Sooners, and Landry Jones doesn't have any flashbacks, plus some things happen in college football. It may be possible my friend, it may be possible.

It's a long season left for everyone. Every year it seems like bombs are dropped right and left as the season goes on.

Very true. I think it'd be a good game. I enjoyed the home and home we had a few years ago, even if we were in our dumpster fire years and lost both. The atmosphere and fans were great and would be even better these days.
