Pickles will Prevail
Giving up a shorthanded goal to Matt Cooke is like giving up a home run to Jamie Moyer.
Or giving up two goals to Jody Shelley

not sure if it means anything but Mason was pulled in his game at about the same time Bryz was.
My rumor: Bob, JVR, Voracek, draft picks
The absurdity of Bryz being traded along with his NMC will have a nice chuckle at any idea of him being traded.

Bad teams have to hit the cap floor too.
So Eklund is saying a rumor of the Nash/Mason combo is surfacing.
The thing that scares me is he says he doesn't believe, but it was just a rumor. Since it is not an e5, it is probably true.
If they for some reason would take bryz off of our hands, I would pay a King's ransom.
Nash/mason
for
JvR, Bryz, 1st, 1st?
W're still taking in more $ then we're giving up and we're sacrificing 2 1st, plus resigning Jagr(and losing JVR who will be a 60-70pt a yr guy at least)all while not getting better on defense. That's an awfully steep price to pay. The only way I could see that working is if we were going to flip him/them to Tor in which case I'd ask a kings ransom Schenn, Franson, Colborne & a 1st(if either transom or colborne are withheld then 2 1st). Nash, Carle & Mason to Tor for Schenn, Franson, Colborne, Reimer & a 1st.
I'm being optimistic.
And honestly, geting Bryz's lifetime contract of the books is worth a 1st IMO
