Mike Riley is retiring because of his wife's illness

I wouldn't be shocked about Riley because he isn't a good coach. However it will be interesting to see how the Frost situation unfolds. He is a top two candidate for my Gators, he and Norvell IMO.

Benning opened up the worm can this morning, fwiw saying basically SE was micromanaging the football program and forcing MR to go along with decisions he had no say in, rugby tackling and firing Banker to hire Diaco, to name a few. Idk whether it’s true or not but it makes a lot of sense in how things are playing out and by the way MR has been acting

Foil hat theory says yes, further down the rabbit hole now Moose doesn’t have any direct connection to Frost however he does have a strong relationship with Mike Bellotti, who hired Chip Kelly, who hired Scott Frost. Things have been said about SF being very interested who we hired as AD before he would entertain the HC position here, one that he had no interest in 3 yrs ago under SE
