Some say Romo is expendable, what about Dez?

No chance JJ let's Romo go. He can't chance him going to another team in the NFC. Can you imagine Romo on another NFC team playing against our defense in the playoffs. Do y'all remember Coach Wade Phillips last game. It would be a similar outcome
I could live with it. I think Romo's best years are behind him. I look at him as bledsoe, Vinnie, type QB now.

No some of us have work real jobs and don't keep starting threads because they love to be the center of attention, and can't dream of life without Romo.

The only way I would trade Dez would be for two first rounders....other than that, it ain't happening

Nobody is going to give up 2 first rounders for that head case.

I think the most they can get would be a 1 and a 2. (Pun intended).

Lol. That's a nice post man. Real job?? I'm not gonna get into all that but by the looks of it u would be real surprised it seems. Center of attention- not me either, although I do like start threads to try to give the board some life. I enjoy talking about whatever. As far as Romo, yes it will be tough, but In a huge Dak fan as well.

HA. You don't think SEA would give up two 1sts for Dez? You crazy

They don't need Dez.

So the team that is so starved for a receiver doesn't want what is an unquestionable top 10 WR?

SEA is smart enough to know that with Dez they would be a late-playoff team, so they would be giving up two picks in the late 20's.

They would do that in a heartbeat.

I don't think they need Dez Bryant as much as they need talent on the O-line.

Baldwin, Graham, Kearse are more than adequate receivers.

They had talent on the OLine and traded it because they desperately needed a receiver. They still do.

However, make it two 1s and a 2 and we will send Dez and Leary :suds:

It just occurred to me that we are not going to agree on this issue.

We also aren't ever going to really see it as an option.

I just don't believe that SEA doesn't feel the need for a top WR. Baldwin is the top on the team, he is not a top 10. That is evident by the fact that even in the slot he couldn't get open last week.

There is talk and everyone has an opinion on Dak and Romo, but we have also been winning and being really balanced since Dez has been out.

I know he is one of the top WR in the league, but I see us moving towards a "whomever is open gets the ball system" and a true #1 diva doesn't go with that system. Brady hasn't had one, had the talent but not a #1 diva who is screaming for the ball.

So what if this offseason we were to make it known at the Winter meetings that he is available? If we have a stable of WR's that are possession type and can stretch the field when needed, then why deal with a guy who will cry and honestly can't run a clean route? I know he is big and powerful, but he isn't a leader and I'd rather have the picks that I think he would bring. How often is a top 5 WR made available?

What could we do with this young offense and a lot of picks to build a young defense?

I say trade away.
