Doesn't it usually just seem like a way to get teams no one gives a crap about like Tampa on National tv? I mean Thursday night games are usually horrible. So, it's obviously by design.

It’s a rule now that everyone play a Thursday game. It seems like it is usually a blow out.

I think they both stink and in the little amount of time that I watched last night I didn't think either played well.

I thought Winston had some really nice throws. He took a couple of bad sacks in which it looked like he had all day. I told my son last week that he would probably be out of the league in a year or two. If Arians and Mohr can’t help you, nobody can. I thought he was a lot better last night.

As for Cam- I know the QB rankings are always out there. It always seems like many of the experts put him in the top 10. He had a great yr the yr they went to the Super Bowl. I’ve just never seen it. Sure he is a monster when he runs the ball but his accuracy has always been suspect. Give me Dak all day. Just my opinion.

Some "Experts" and mostly players and ex-players that list Cam in the top 10. It's mind boggling. It's almost like they are afraid to not list him there for some reason. He isn't top 20 IMO.

I could tell Aikman was not one of those ex players lol. Even on the bomb Cam hit, Aikman said well if he would have led him that’s a TD.

Just a thought here - and Trubisky may turn out to be great , but Mahomes and Reid just seems like a match made in heaven.

Not so sure about the win by 10 in their house...

Very true. It will be loud. They know they are undermanned. They caught some breaks today. Bridgewater played pretty decent. Nothing spectacular.

If interceptions weren't a constant problem and we didn't already have a bunch we should have had this year I would say this is good and a sign we will get better. As it is I think it highlights we still aren't getting ints even though we are scoring so many points and forcing teams to throw against us.

I thought we would get a couple yesterday. Rosen was pretty erratic at times. Our CBs are pretty good. Chido had a rough 1st couple of drives but after that he settled in. I thought Brown had a really good game yesterday. Jaylon and LVE have been kind of quiet honestly, but that can be a good thing too. Rarely see Lee on the field. 23 seemed to be involved a bunch yesterday. I had to look up who he was. Another Boise St. guy I believe.

I think our CBs have been great and I'm very happy with how they are playing. But they still don't make enough plays when the ball is in the air. Just seems over and over they are right there and don't knock it away or ever come down with those 50/50 balls a lot of CBs do. You take the good with the bad but it's just frustrating to see balls always seem to bounce off their hands that could be intercepted like Woods week 2.

Thompson was a Giants draft pick. Think he was like a 3rd rounder? Not sure if he is a Boise St guy or not but he has been here a little while now. Hoping Wilson gets some PT this week to see what he can do. I watched the game via an online feed that I ran through my tv so couldn't rewind or anything and picture wasn't exactly perfect, but I though Heath played OK this week. A couple of nice plays where he got to the receiver as the ball was arriving.

I’ve always said that with helmets on, Alex Smith and A Rodgers look a like. I don’t want to say who Trubisky looks like with a helmet on.

That's hysterical. I saw an angle of him last night and said "Holy crap, he looks just like Romo"!!!

10:35 a.m. - How is this for an instant impact? Robert Quinn was acquired so he could deliver some pressure opposite of DeMarcus Lawrence off the edge. Not only did Quinn get a sack in his first game last week, but he was credited with seven quarterback pressures.

Since the Cowboys started tracking this stat over the last 10 years, seven pressures in a game is tied for the most in team history as Quinn joins DeMarcus Lawrence (2017 at Arizona) and DeMarcus Ware, who had seven pressures twice in his career in 2012 at Philly and 2009 vs. Oakland.

But neither D-Law or D-Ware did that in their first games with the Cowboys.

Double Trouble: Depending on how dependable you think NFL NextGen Stats are, Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence over these first three games has been double-teamed more than any other “edge” rusher in the league at 35 percent of his 129 defensive snaps.

My All time favorite WR duo & how similar all their stats were through their careers.

Tony Hill & Drew Pearson

Tony Hill....... 10 yrs 479 catches 7988 yds 16.7 YPR 51 TDs 7 fumbles

Drew Pearson 11 yrs 489 catches 7822 yds 16.0 YPR 48 TDs 9 fumbles

I thought it was interesting how all the stats were so similar over that length of time.

Wow, I would have guessed way more catches for Drew Pearson than Hill. I loved that duo also. Loved Preston Pearson too. He was ahead of his time.

My favorite duo of all time as well. These two guys were something else in the final minutes of games. They were always making huge catches in the final seconds
