It's always one of our main players with injures ... so frustrating! Hope he's ready to go week 1.

No surgery needed is good. These pectoral things can sometimes take longer than planned....but usually not more than a few weeks when its just a strain.

If he misses Week 1 I am confident he is back by week 2.

I’ll just put this here. We do a very good job of knocking this team when there are draft picks that pan out badly (to be fair some are just bad bad bad).

But we don’t do the same level of circumspection when we stay clear of a player and it pays off.

But I’ll share an example that came to mind today. Remember when a lot of phans were really hoping to get Derrius Guice in 2018. Instead we left him on the table and took Goedert (another TE. What the fuck?). Then the next year we grabbed Sanders for the back field.

Now imagine we took Guice in that Goedert spot. Maybe we don’t go RB the next year (though if he blew his knee out rookie year for us too we might have). We could be minus Goedert and Sanders, as well as Guice at this point.

Luck works against us, but it works for us too.

Sidney Jones, Rasul Douglas, and Shareef Miller were all cut.

Not that it means very much but on Pro Football Talk, the Eagles are ranked 13th. They say that there are already too many injuries.
