I think we're good at all positions. WR is still a concern. If the young guys can play, then it's all good. I'd like to see us bring in another good veteran, and get rid of Alshon.
isn't Alshon too expensive to dump? Not sure why anybody would trade for him.
We'll see. I think that this time of the year, Howie will be able to cut him without a lot of dead money, but hopefullly, he will be able to trade him for any pick he can get. I still think he's a cancer.
Carson says that he has gotten bigger this offseason. We'll see if that makes him a better QB.
I like your team this year if (big if) Wentz can stay healthy. Only concern would be corner and life in the NFL can be difficult with crappy corners.
As with EVERY team, the ONLY concern will be who will be able to play from week to week and who will have the virus.
Which is why I don't see a season. If Mahomes, his backup and 3 starting linemen are in quarantine and facing the Steelers with half their defensive starters also out for COVID is that really anything we can call a legitimate game?
In that scenario, who are you picking?
Do fantasy points still accumulate?
Is there still a final score?
Short of a cheap Clowney shot he plays through a full season with playoffs. He played the full regular season anyway.
I understand the point to some degree. I just think it’s an “if” at this point and not a big if. Just like any other QB
Have you seen the pics? He has certainly thrown on some muscle.
I'm a Wentz defender but you can't say a QB who missed 13 of 54 games over the last three seasons, including five of six postseason games (lasting only 9 snaps in the only playoff game he played in), is like every other QB.
I can say it.
It proves an extreme bias, but I can say it.
His history fills me with angst every time he takes a hit, every time he takes off running. Reminds me of after McNabb broke his leg. Every run and hit became jarring.
With McNabb they changed his game to minimize hits. I was happy at first. Then I learned what it means when you change a guys natural game.
I think at this time it’s easy to look at playing the full regular season last year as an anomaly against the previous years. But I’m going to be a homer on the home board and expect that in 5 years it will be those couple of injury years early on that were the anomaly.
September 13 is 6 weeks away.
