Because the Eagles, Wentz and papers reported months ago he won’t participate in contact drills and won’t be ready by the preseason and will hopefully shoot for week one... and nothing has changed and they’ve done everything the said the will do months ago.
You tried to act like he was doing 11 on 11s and then you posted an article but if you took the time to read the article they weren’t traditional 11 on11 drills. They were modified non contact. They took Wentz out and went back to traditional 11 on 11s with contact.

What? None of us trumpeted anything. We said the plan was to get him back week one and skip contact drills and skip the preseason. We have no idea if he will be ready week 1. It would be extremely stupid to rush back the guy you view as the future of your franchise for meaningless preseason action after he had a serious knee injury that could threaten to effect his entire career if it doesn't heal properly. Pretty simple decision if you ask me. The preseason is primarily just to get players in the swing of things and sorting out your bench/final cuts before the regular season begins.
