So the Skins are the favorite in the East?

Skins lost to a terrible MIA team and then beat a worse Rams team. Dallas has a brutal first half schedule, so we will probably lose more than we win. But the schedule is much easier late in the season when everyone should be coming back.

Meanwhile Dallas needs a bad call by the ref and a last second miracle to beat the Giants and struggled with another mighty 0-2 team yesterday. Your brutal schedule is looking mighty tough to start with going against teams that are a combined 0-4.

I also echo this quote. Most Redskins fans I know believe we are in a rebuilding process under a new GM.

Correct, a Skins fan didn't start this. But more than one of you have read through and gone right passed the proclamations of winning the east in order to focus on, and chastise, Dallas fans for telling them to hold their horses.

As long as the praises are for your team, the thread is fine and dandy. As soon as there is dissent from the team who currently holds the top of the division, well then its just homerism, arrogance, and smugness.

I don't necessarily agree with that since a split against Dallas in the last 5 would go a long way of shortening the end of the season, but Let's say that is true. What are the odds the Skins make up 4 games in the next 8? If Dallas goes 2-6 that would mean Wash needs to go 6-2. Are they a team that could go 6-2? Anything is possible, but I'm not betting on that even if I'm a Skins fan

Which is exactly why I don't think Washington gets it done if Romo is only out 6 games. If Romo is out 8-10 games, It becomes a bit more interesting. The Cowboys looked abysmal with Weeden in there last year, but he actually looked great against the Eagles. I'm not quite sure what to make of that.

What I make of that is Weeden not having time to get into his own head, the Eagles not having time to adjust to a different QB, and the Eagles already being beat down in the first half and not giving their all.

I hope what we saw last night is what we get from Weeden, but gameplanning for a QB helps a lot. It's part of why backup QB's that get announced late have been Dallas' achilles recently. I blame it on coaching the team up for each QB.
