I just watched the Pittsburgh game again and well - I have some questions!

The players went on the field at beginning of game looking down - really, check it out.
They proceeded to play well for awhile but they didn't always seem into the game.

Question I have is when Josh's announcement came?
Did Goodell order his lackey's to make the announcement right before the game?
Conspiracy theory, yes but do you think Goodell would not do this?
Will more info come about when this all happened and when word came down?
Go ahead, tell me I'm crazy!

They could've been looking for their next contract the way many of them have been playing.

I wouldn't put anything past Goofdell. But I think it may have been more of Gordon telling them hey I just pissed hot.

Could also be the reason he was only targeted twice the entire game?

This makes more sense to me...

Goodell would have suspended him during the coin flip if he had known before the game.

The Jekyl and Hyde Pats will need to ensure that Dr. Jekyl appears for the last two games against two weak teams. Was the Gordon problem a factor leading up to the Steelers game? Possibly, but they survived the distractions of Spygate and Deflategate to win Super Bowls. In some games this season, the Pats have shown that they have championship ability, but in other games, they looked flat, listless and mediocre. A key marker will be which team can dominate the LOS tomorrow, and that fact will become evident very early.

The Phins game last week didnt help either. I think it was multiple things. It should get wrapped up today against the Bills. Then a week off for most of the starters because there is no chance at a bye now. Then fresh for the playoffs.

They cleary didn't have their gameplan down and too many unforced penalties cost them the win. Who knows if Gordon had anything to do with it. But they just flat out sucked no ifs ends or butts about it...

but they survived the distractions of Spygate and Deflategate to win Super Bowls

Last I checked they lost the SB after spygate. It initially was announced at the beginning of the 2007 season, then resurfaced the week of the 2007 Super Bowl before the Giants prevailed against what may have been the best team of all time - lacking the final coronation of a SB win.
