My brother has an old A4 with a couple hundred thousand miles on it. Those and Benz last forever but you have to keep the maintenance up and that's not that cheap.

I bought stuff like this, locally - not on Ebay - back when I didn't waste gobs on cars. You find some old broad with a nice car and no miles. You can buy a sweet ride like this, with 20k miles, for less that $15k.
The extended warranty on an American car like this would be cheap, too.

The Friday before Super Bowl this year I picked up a 10 year old S55 AMG Benz for ~$23K. Only 50K miles on it and in pristine condition.

500 HP. Amazing vehicle. Goes from 80 MPH to 150 MPH in no time at all and still feels like it's going 80 MPH. A highway predator.

It lacks nothing, except the adjustable back seats.
