Uh, the person that said that is raptor4life and he doesn't have the Lakers in his teams under his avi, this would seem to indicate that he is not a Laker fan, moron!! It's comments like this that show that Laker fans are in your head and kill your credibility even among Heat fans!!
Also, only fans whose teams have no history claim that history doesn't matter!! Past history is a good predictor of future actions. Since the Lakers have so many championships in their past history, it would be a good indicator that they will do what is necessary to win more in the future!![/
You don't find it foolish that beaten down Laker fans to try to preach history lessons and compare histories when the franchises were born 41 years apart?
Is it really wise to compare a modern expansion team to a team that won a championship 66 years ago while beating up on the Oshkosh All Stars, Tri City Blackhaws, and Rochester Royals on the way to a title?
Do those wins make you want to chest thump?
Say what you want, but the biggest fan base by FAR to hate on the Heat are Laker fans?
WHY is that?
What I find foolish is that you have spent so much time posting about a team that you say is irrelevant and will be for a long time and whose fanbase you claim is full of a bunch morons, that you feel you must make it about that team and/or their fanbase even when it isn't!!
I'm not one to worry about how many championships the Lakers have vs. other teams (except Boston, I want to catch and pass those bastards!!) However, as I said, past performance is a very good indicator of future performance and the Lakers championship history indicates that they will be back in the hunt sooner rather than later.
And trust me, if the Heat are fortunate enough to develop anything close to the championship history that the Lakers have, you'll be on some thread somewhere talking about the Heat's championship history because you will understand the importance.
Name 30 better.
The 2012-2013 Heat is a top 30 team. Teams don't win 66 games and go 27 game win streaks often.
My band wagoning that I was referring to is in soccer for monetary reasons.
I have always said I enjoy watching great basketball being played. I am not sure that is my own way, surely others must enjoy good basketball?
If you knew what debate meant then you would be able to put aside the fact I dont think like you.
every Bulls team that won
Every Lakers and Celtics team that won
Pistons bad boys
Spurs With Duncan Robinson
The NBA was tougher and Stars didnt leave their teams to have super teams.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa...!!!
"beaten down Lakers fans"? this guy's an IDIOT, no question about it. all this fool does is talk shit about the Lakers. ALL...HE...DOES. Lakers on the BRAIN. how many troll threads has he started about the Lakers? he barely even talks about the Heat. Turnip's a friggin' joke. TOO damn funny...![]()

Yeah now a days it's just stars teaming up to win.
Whatever. I have read your posts tonight and while I 100% respect your right to share your opinion I disagree with most of them.
Every Laker and Celtics team? Seriously?
Based on what?
In one breath you say those other teams are better, but in the next breath, you call the Heat a " super team".
Do you now understand why what you said makes no sense?

The 2012-2013 Heat are not a top 30 team? What are you smoking?
The hate is real here.
And yes the Spurs did choke away G6 but the Heat still had to make 2 huge 3's in the final 20 seconds of that game.
The Heat are a super team in this eras NBA
They wouldnt be in the 80's 90's or other eras.
The first time Lebron bitched to the refs the next play the opposite team would give him a real reason to bitch.

The Heat have been to the finals for 3 straight seasons, and won back to back titles. I don't know if they're top 10 all-time in championships teams, but they are definitely top 15 and I'd say no worse than 11 or 12!! They might even be top 10!!
66 wins and a 27 game win streak combined with the above is a pretty strong resume whether I like them or not!!

You are confusing me with others.
When did I say those things about the Lakers?
I believe my quote from a couple days ago was "most storied franchise ever".
I did say before last season that I thought they wouldn't be near as good as most predicted, but only a fool would think they won't be back.
I do think it might be a bit longer then many Laker fans think, especially if Howard leaves, because if he does, he is setting a precedent that we have never seen before. A top FA center shunning the Lakers because he feels the Mavs, Rockets or Warriors have a better 5 year window to win championships. New ground for sure.
