In year 7 one would have hoped for some consistency. Kelly hasn't strung 2 10 win seasons in a row since he's been here. In fact, we have rarely had back to back good performances since he's been here.

2012 was fun until we were introduced to what an elite team looks like. Last year had promise to build on. This year we went backwards.

Looking ahead, we're gonna have nail biters with shitty teams that run tempo (Duke and Syracuse). We're gonna get boat raced by Stanford, Miami and USC. And we could easily drop NC State or Va Tech. It's gonna be hold on and pray just to get to 8-5.

I think the QB from Louisville is the best QB in the nation. Kizer is certainly on the Mt. Rushmore of QB's this season though.

Exactly. It would've been a defensible call were it not the reams of evidence (including game 1of this year) that this defense would blow it in that scenario. But to then burn a TO when you WANT to put it on the Defense? Indefensible.

Kelly shouldn't blame BVG. He is who he is. He needs to blame himself for bringing him back.

He also needs to get serious about getting a defense. This Big East style of football won't cut it at ND no matter how much lip service he pays to it. His results show otherwise.

Well u know what I mean he is Top 3 easy and #1 NFL type QB. Either way he is an elite QB and kelly did not trust him in that 2nd half even when we were coming back. 2 times Kelly ran back to back running plays. We can eat up clock like that.

The offense can win games but the defense with Van Gorder is a liability the guy isn't a good coach plain and simple. I do like that North Dakota State head coach.

Well now that Kelly has turned things around from Davie, Willingham, and Weis eras and gotten some depth of talent on the team it should be easier to get good coaches. They really do need an new DC like yesterday but that won't happen.

I watched part of that FSU curb stomping. I guess I didn't focus that much on his passes, most of his big plays were runs. Does he have good accuracy? Although seeing as Tebow won the Heisman, I guess you don't necessarily need to have accuracy.

I agree that he's atop the list of Heisman candidates at this point in the season.

For all the talk about our O-line being so good in the offseason, I just haven't seen it this year so far. I mean, in spurts they have been good, but nothing like I thought they were supposed to be.
