I'll bet that you really thought that this was about RGIII huh? Well it's not! The actual subject is our HC Jay Gruden. While it is true that some coaches are able to come into the NFL and make their transition seem effortless, this is not the case with our guy. From public pronouncements out of turn, on field discipline issues, questionable calls, fracturing organizational and team problems, staffing and instituting his program it seems much like our current QB, there's a lot of ground yet to be mastered by Gruden.

Seems to me that, just as everyone questions our QB, the questions about his boss must also be examined. So I'm asking, just how protracted is his learning curve?

Everyone is different. Much has to do with the supporting cast he has around him (both players and coaches). Just like Griffin, I would like to see improvement. I'm concerned that he has yet to really take on HC responsibilities. He is more a glorified OC. He needs to get involved in the other two parts of the team and mold them into his own. He needs a real OC to take over planning and play calling.
