we didn't need any quitters on this team. No one will miss that robust 3.2 yards per carry and him falling forward after one step passed the line of scrimmage almost every time
Running Back is now a low cost, youth oriented position... and we already have Ellington (Gem), Taylor (Prospect) and Williams (Intriguing Prospect) on the roster....
Williams can show what he has, and if he doesn't.... he is gone.. saving 1 Million in cap space, but also enabling us to pick up another low cost kid (LSU's Hill ??) in the 4th or 5th round....
All they have to be able to do is pick up a blitz... a tough assignment, but not an impossible one.
I'd never draft a RB in the first 3 rounds.... just not enough value in them right now.
