my guess is that it's done...

Wellwood and eager have played well enough for dougie to sit on his hands regarding the O. With white in the D and Braun up, they have 8 dmen (including pickles) so I am not exactly sure what dougie is thinking. Maybe braun will be sent back down after pickles returns? Doesnt make a whole lot of sense to keep him here with boyle, White, murray, vlasic, demers, huskins, and wallin as the top 7. Braun would be #8...

However, give the struggles of heater and jumbo, I'm sure that dougie wouldnt mind a bit of help on O. Huskins or wallin could go I suppose for cap purposes, but I frankly dont expect anything else...

My new desired target replacing hejduk is Hemsky. Injury risk galore, but when he's in the lineup, he's a super stud and he's still young (27) and quick, and signing at 4.1M next year is a very good deal for a player with his skills. Excluding his first two years, he's basically a point per game player, and I distinctly remember him school the sharks 5 years ago... Seto and wallin would be a cap wash. obviously, edmonton has no need for wallin, but seto could be attractive to them.

Still though, nothing more coming if I had to guess.

Hemskys a stud because he is a puck hog and has to carry it at all times, theres only one puck and he, joe, and boyle would have a hard time sharing it

Dont think it will happen (cap hit + his season thus far), just throwing it out there

Sadly he is done

Yeah, Wallin is probably better than Rivet at this point. I loved Rivet's effort during his time here though. Too bad his career looks like it's coming to a close like this.

I say, the right team Rivet is on, he would be a great 3rd or bottom pair dman.

Bring him back Doug, re entry waivers.

Rivet was my favorite Shark when he was here, he was a great locker-room guy and would do anything for his teammates out there on the ice. However, I too think ole RIVER is done.

maybe ship Torrey Mitchell out. That would be nice... Never happen but can we trade Wallin for a bag of pucks?
