We'll see, UNCFan. I just checked Eric D's bracket, and he had Creighton as a 9 seed and St. Mary's out not counting yesterday's game. Considering you go to EJS, I think you know how deadly accurate that guy normally is.

Creighton is looking like a 10 seed right now. They are right on the edge, losing 4 of last 6, if they slip up in last couple they could be out.

I dont go to EJS much. Im actually surprised you noticed ive been over there. But if I looked at the right bracket, it was last updated Feb. 20. St. Marys has since beat BYU and Creighton and Creighton lost to St. Marys. I think St. Marys is on the bubble but the only loss they can afford to to Gonzaga in the WCCT. I'm probably wrong though because I don't study the tournament.

Even as an Iowa fan I think they have some serious work to do. The record is OK and the B10 is brutal but the reality is Iowa only has 4 top 100 wins ( not good). Losing close games to great teams is fine and all but it doesnt get you in the tourney ( at least not if you are Iowa). Hawks need to get to 22 wins to be in IMO. That means 3-1 in last 4 and 2 B10 tourney wins OR win out and get a B10 tourney win ( not likely since they ahve to go to Indiana) I dont think there is any doubt Iowa is a better team than most of the other bubble teams but losses are still losses and they need to beat smeone with a pulse.

In reality, they probably need to win out and 2 more in the B1G tourney. If we had better years leading up to this, it might be different. But the perception is that we're a bad team bc of Lickliter/Alford.

Cant see us needing that much but who knows. Winning three of the last 4 gives them at least 1 more top 50 win and MAYBE another top 100 win depending on what Nebraska does the rest of the year. 2 wins in the B10 tourney would mean at least 1 more top 50 win. That should do it IMO.

Nebraska is the last team I'd be hoping for help from. They might win one more (Minnesota @ home?)

Looks like Creighton is in.

Their convincing win over Bradley last night coupled with Wichita St's loss to Evansville will give them the MVC regular season title.
The Wichita St @ Creighton game remaining is now meaningless regarding the regular season champ.

It is now Wichita St who'd better hope someone other than themselves or Creighton doesn't win the MVC Tournament and take the auto-bid.

BTW I loathe Creighton, so this disappoints me.
