The Commanders no, but I still view the organizations history as very highly regarded.

So what's the chances a new owner comes in and dumps The Commanders?

I think we’re all hoping that a new owner comes in first.

An interesting question to ponder might be: would fans of the washington football team prefer a hands on owner (to the point of meddlesome, like Snyder) who spends money on imrpoving the team, or a hands off miser?

The salary cap rules make it nearly impossible to be a miser with the roster due to the salary cap floor..

Also, with the stadium situation I don't see a miser getting involved with purchasing the team. A new owner will HAVE to be willing to spend.

It will be interesting to see just how much $$$ Snyder can get with a sale.

Is there any possible area in DC to build a new state of the art stadium?

I dont think in DC proper other than the proposed RFK stadium site.

The Navy Yards used to be a wasteland until the Nationals transformed that area.

Anacostia, maybe?

Never a good thing to dispalce the folks who live their though…

Oxon Hill, across the Beltway from the casino. Best spot.
