The salary cap rules make it nearly impossible to be a miser with the roster due to the salary cap floor..I think we’re all hoping that a new owner comes in first.
An interesting question to ponder might be: would fans of the washington football team prefer a hands on owner (to the point of meddlesome, like Snyder) who spends money on imrpoving the team, or a hands off miser?

Also, with the stadium situation I don't see a miser getting involved with purchasing the team. A new owner will HAVE to be willing to spend.
It will be interesting to see just how much $$$ Snyder can get with a sale.
